The Bensalem Township Police Accident Investigation Unit will be conducting intersection mapping within the township. This is a proactive approach to serious injury / fatal accident investigations utilizing state of the art mapping technology. Officer's from the unit will be mapping major intersections that will be stored for future investigations. This action will reduce road closure times significantly when a serious injury or fatal accident occurs within these pre mapped intersections.
Citizens are reminded that the officers will be engaged in this activity and are requested to refrain from stopping in traffic and requesting information about what the officers are doing. Citizens are further requested to allow a safe distance from the officers when passing through these intersections.

The Polar Plunge is taking place at Neshaminy State Park on Saturday, January 28th. There will be a high volume of traffic on the roadways in and around the State Park between the hours of 9 AM-3 PM. Please use alternate routes.
