To Whom It May Concern,

As a valued resident of the Township, the Bensalem Police Department would like to ensure that you are aware of several acts of vandalism and property damage that have recently occurred at Rambler’s Athletic Association located in Yezzi Park at 1801 Hulmeville Rd.

In many of the incidents the actor(s) have spray painted on the buildings, supply trailers and light poles within the park.  They have also dragged bench seats onto the fields and dumped them into the nearby creek.  Most concerning was that a vehicle was set on fire on one of the fields.  These incidents have generally occurred late at night and are likely being committed by juveniles that walk through the residential properties that neighbor the fields.

The Rambler’s Athletic Association has been a wonderful place for children to participate in various sports and for their families to gather.  The Association is located in a Township park that has been dedicated to the memory of Bensalem Township Police Officer Robert Yezzi who was killed in the line of duty on August 12, 1980.

The Police Department will be conducting increased patrol checks of the park.  Additional security measures are also being implemented.  The Police Department and Association Staff greatly appreciate your assistance stopping this type of criminal activity

The park hours are from dawn to dusk (except during official league games).

The Township night time curfew for a minor (15-17 years old) is
11 pm Sunday - Thursday and 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Please report any suspicious persons or activity to Bensalem Police by immediately calling 911 or non-emergency #215-639-3700.

If you have any information about this issue please contact Ofc. Mason at 215-633-3689.

Thank you for your assistance.
